Meet Mikel Burroughs, a retired Army Colonel and devoted advocate for veterans, currently serving as the Director and Senior Living Expert at America Senior Living (ASL). Mikel's journey, rooted in military service, aligns seamlessly with his passion for enhancing the lives of veterans through senior living initiatives.

As a vital member of ASL, Mikel brings a wealth of experience and dedication to the well-being of veterans in their senior years. His role as a Volunteer Board Member for the National Veterans Transition Service, Inc. (NVTSI), known as REBOOT, exemplifies his commitment to supporting veterans in their transition from the military to civilian life.

Mikel's expertise extends to founding Warriors for Life (WFL), a part-time initiative under Victory for Veterans, Inc. (VFV). In this capacity, he facilitates support for veterans, emphasizing team leadership, strategic planning, and executive management.

In his pivotal role at ASL, Mikel focuses on providing debt acquisition and relief strategies specifically tailored to veterans, military service members, and civilians burdened by healthcare debt. Collaborating with CFOs and Revenue Cycle Management, he leverages his extensive healthcare and military background to offer practical solutions and necessary capital to address healthcare account receivable liquidity challenges.
